Email is a bit mysterious. We all use it, but most of us have no idea what happens after it’s sent. So my pal Jordo and I came up with a web comic series for Postmark about the wild west of email. No fancy metrics or KPIs here, we just wanted to bring readers a little joy while also educating them about email.

Issue #1: Journey to the Inbox

Journey to the Inbox is about a duo of dogs who get tasked with safely delivering an email to a recipient. They outrun a nosey gang of phishers, deal with a hard-nosed Mail Transfer Agent, and make it past one mean spam filter. All in a days work.

This map serves as the table of contents for the comic. I wanted it to feel like an old treasure map while outlining the general process an email takes to get to the inbox.

Issue #2: Ruthy Redemption

This issue is about Ruthy Ribbit and how she ended up in the spam folder. She was an honest sender, but sometimes the spam filter will get ya.
